Tariff Notice - Effective September 8, 2026
As you may be aware, Canada is implementing new tariffs on certain U.S.-made products effective September 8, 2026. The impact will vary by supplier and product, and we are currently working closely with our vendor partners to identify which items may be affected.
Tools
Based on the information available today, we expect the impact on most tool brands to be minimal. Most products supplied by our tool manufacturers are produced outside of the United States and are therefore not expected to be subject to the new tariffs. For many brands, less than 2% of their product portfolio is considered U.S.-manufactured and potentially impacted.
Equipment
Rotary is expected to be one of the brands most significantly affected. U.S.-manufactured lifts, including both light-duty and heavy-duty models, along with certain accessories and replacement parts, may be subject to tariffs. Products sourced overseas and sold by Rotary, as well as equipment purchased directly from overseas manufacturers, are not expected to be impacted.
Lubrication
For Graco lubrication products, we are awaiting additional guidance from the supplier. While no formal announcement has been made regarding tariff-related pricing adjustments in Canada, some impact may be expected on applicable U.S.-manufactured products.
We continue to work closely with our suppliers to assess the impact of these tariffs and identify affected products. As more information becomes available, we will provide timely updates to help you plan accordingly.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
